No Processing of Personal Data by Us
As the provider of this app, we do not process any personal data within the scope of using the app, as defined by Article 4(1) of the GDPR.
Content such as audiobooks and usage-related information (e.g. playback positions) is stored locally on the device and optionally in the user’s iCloud account.
No data is ever transmitted to us.
Use of iCloud (Apple Service)
If iCloud is enabled, metadata and optionally audiobook content are synchronized via Apple’s infrastructure. In this case, the app uses exclusively the functions provided by Apple for the user to store data in iCloud.
The data is transferred only between the device and Apple’s servers. We have no access to this data and do not receive any information about it.
Apple is solely responsible for the processing of data within the scope of iCloud use.
Subscription Management via StoreKit (Apple Service)
Using the app requires a paid subscription. The subscription is managed via StoreKit 2, a system service provided by Apple.
Purchasing, billing, and subscription management are handled entirely through the App Store. We do not receive any personal information from Apple (such as names, email addresses, or payment data).
Apple is also solely responsible for the processing of this data.
No Third Parties, No Tracking
The app includes no advertisements, no analytics, and no third-party software.
There is no tracking, no usage profiling, and no use of external SDKs or server-based tools.
Internet Connections
The app does not initiate any own connections to the internet.
All network activity is limited to Apple services (iCloud, StoreKit) and only occurs if these are activated in the system settings or required for operation.
Your Rights
Since we do not process any personal data in the context of using the app, you do not have any rights against us in relation to the app usage under Articles 15–21 GDPR (e.g. access, erasure). For any data processing carried out by Apple, Apple’s privacy policy and contact options apply.
